Cognitive Behavioural Therapist
Mandeep Jassal is a fully accredited Cognitive and Behavioural Therapist and EMDR practitioner from the UK. She has worked in the private health care setting with clients predominately struggling with depression and anxiety based disorders. Mandeep started her career in the field of mental health at the age of 17, when she was a volunteer at a day service for adults with learning disabilities. Mandeep qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and worked within the National Health Service and Private sector including; an acute psychiatric unit and care home with patients struggling with various types of dementia.
Mandeep is keen to develop therapeutic relationships with clients going forward in the form of psychotherapy. She is a committed, driven and optimistic person who wholeheartedly believes in her ability to make a positive change to people’s lives. Mandeep is passionate about encouraging people to embrace life and deal with their mental health issues, relentlessly employing her academic training and using her personal qualities to achieve this.
Combined with 15 years of experience working in the UK, across a broad range of environments and mental health issues, she has developed strong leadership skills and a good sense of appropriate treatment for her clients.
